This week one of the children wanted to find out about growing food. We decided to grow cress. The children all grew cress in the shape of the first letter of their name. The cress took about 6 days to grow. We then decided to make cress sandwiches. On Tuesday we did a survey and made a graph of the types of sandwiches the children would like to add their cress to. They chose egg, tuna, cheese and ham.

This morning the children all made their chosen sandwiches and ate them for snack time. Benjamin said it was the best sandwich he had ever eaten in his life!!!!
