On Friday 27th May we will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at school. Children are invited to wear red, white and blue clothes instead of their uniform on this day. The children will learn about this historic event and will take part in a range of activities to celebrate in their classrooms.
KS1 and KS2 thoroughly enjoyed the production Fantastic Fred on Thursday 5th May 2022. Through humour and drama, the team delivered an important message about good mental health. The Fantastic Fred experience is part of the Good Mental Health Matters campaign, launched by the NHS to help raise awareness of mental health among young people in Kent, and equip children at a very early age to improve their lifelong emotional resilience.

As part of our celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we are holding a photography competition for the whole school
She read a new book to the children, which covers themes of injury & illness, so she was able to then have a conversation on the topics with them.
As the Easter holidays are nearly upon us, the Borough Green Primary School governors say thank you to Mrs Sandberg and her team for leading the school through another packed term.
Family Bingo Night 13th May 2022 - 6pm school hall.
We had a great day wearing something red and raising money for Comic Relief and we raised £217.50 - we even got a mention on BBC South East News!
Welcome to British Science Week 2022 – a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths.
The situation in Ukraine is absolutely devastating but once again, we have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity. Friends, families and neighbours of our school have demonstrated their kind and generous hearts by donating goods, offering transportation to Folkestone and even knitting children’s hats and gloves.
We celebrated World Book Day on Friday 4th March. All the classes had a great time dressed up and talking about their favourite books.
