The children were desperate to get out in the snow, so we went on a snowy wellie walk. There were lots of animal footprints to follow and the large frozen puddle at the bottom of the meadow gave us the opportunity to discuss why we never walk on frozen ponds. 

We had a snowball throwing competition and then put snowballs into our water tray indoors to find out how long it would take them to melt.
