In Year 3 and 4, we have been learning about volcanoes. Eva (Poplar) made a model of a volcano at home with her Mum which she kindly brought in to share. We decided to complete the experiment in class and we poured bicarbonate of soda and vinegar in to make an 'explosion'. Jayden used the language from our Geography lessons to describe the explosion as an 'effusive explosion' meaning that the lava came out slowly and steadily - well done Jayden!
