We are so proud of Apple Class! The children are writing their own story based on Julia Donaldson's The Snail and the Whale. The title of their own story is The trail of the snail. The snail crawls around the garden visiting a flower, a tree and a log. The seeds we planted earlier this year are showcasing beautiful flowers—the children imagined the snail's eye view and wrote about it in their books. Here they are on the field, observing trees for their next plot point. The children looked carefully at their chosen tree to see the sizes, shapes and colours of the trunk, branches and leaves.
