Another busy week having fun...
Maple and Oak have had yet another busy week. The children have made wholemeal bread rolls in DT - measuring, kneading and proving, whilst also co-operating and communicating as a team. The taste test was very successful, with some children reporting that the addition of butter, chocolate spread and sprinkles really elevated the roll to a new level! In science we have continued our exploration of the human circulatory system. The children acted as blood cells and traveled through a giant, chalk heart on the playground. They moved through the four chambers of the heart in order to release carbon dioxide via the lungs, simultaneously collecting oxygen and taking it back through the heart and out to be used in the body.
