Last week we explored Death Valley in California and were impressed by the ways nature had adapted to such high temperatures.  We experimented with ways to represent heat in art; here you will see the wonderful range of responses pupils have sent to us - one in cake form!  We've included a few of the California maps and Death Valley mindmaps because they were works of art in themselves.
