We spent today at Osborne House, Queen Victoria's holiday home.  Every year the staff wait for 2 inevitable annual features of this day: firstly the moaning about all the walking; secondly, seeing who rushes for the dressing up clothes in Swiss Cottage! Despite the groaning about walking - which, to be fair, is quite gruelling - everyone survived and most even had the energy to play in the many play areas.  We ate lunch at the Queen's private beach and then showed off our skills at skimming pebbles and looked for crabs.
