Queen's Platinum Jubilee Photograph Competition

As part of our celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we are holding a photography competition for the whole school. The theme of the photographs should reflect the Queen’s characteristics of being constant and steadfast. These words can also mean - abiding, continuous, faithful, loyal, committed and trusty. 

If your child would like to enter, they can photograph something that they see as constant or steadfast.  Objects from the natural world or from history might be suitable subject-matter. The work must be their own property and should not include photographs of people for privacy purposes. Entries are limited to one per child. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to try their hand at photography and get creative. 

Winners will be selected from the two key stages in school by a panel of children, staff and non-staff members. Photographs will be displayed during the Whole School Art and STEM week from Monday 13^th June, when certificates and prizes will be awarded. 

Please send your competition photograph by email with a signed consent form to the school office for the attention of Mrs Bowers by Monday 9^th May.
