Welcome to British Science Week 2022 – a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths.
The situation in Ukraine is absolutely devastating but once again, we have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity. Friends, families and neighbours of our school have demonstrated their kind and generous hearts by donating goods, offering transportation to Folkestone and even knitting children’s hats and gloves.
We celebrated World Book Day on Friday 4th March. All the classes had a great time dressed up and talking about their favourite books.
The School Council have voted to raise money for Comic Relief this year. They would like to a hold a wear red/ wear a red item day. If your child would like to wear red to school on Friday 18th March to help raise money for Comic Relief please could they bring in a suggested donation of £1 on the day.
Our school is part of the Kent Association of Head Teachers (KAH) and together with many other schools across the county we are working to collect supplies and resources that we can send to Ukrainian refugees that have crossed the border into Poland.
